Ministry of Foriegn Affairs

One year ago I had been employed in the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The first week in my new jobs I was rotating between different sections in the Protocol Department. After having a deep knowledge and wide background of the sections, H.E. Abdulsalam Al Rumaithi; the chief of the Protocol Department who was supervising me decided to shift me to the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Department.

Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Section consists of 5 employees including me. It is responsible of Foreign Diplomatic people working in the United Arab of Emirates. On the other hand we coordinate between our abroad embassies and the embassies which are located in the UAE. After 3 months approximately, my teamwork and I suggested to our boss to provide a very important service for our foreign embassies of designing a survey which is related to the followed procedures and services for that embassies. According to that, the survey was planned to control and deal with the embassies in the UAE by the Basis of Reciprocity. Thus, we created and worked on the survey by guaranteeing that it covers all procedures and services. After preparing and working on it we sent it to our Foreign Embassies. Than we collect the whole replay and create a form that we should work on it and deal with the other embassies in UAE by the Basis of Reciprocity.

After succeeding to reach our goal, the manager chose me to be the coordinator between the UAE’s abroad embassies and the ones which are located in the country by the Basis of Reciprocity. After that, I met with H.E. Dr. Anwar Gargash – the Minster of Foreign Affairs – who thanked and honored me and my team for this victorious step. So, since that day I am considered as the official Coordinator between the local UAE Embassies and the overseas ones by the Basis of Reciprocity. As a result, I’m really proud for what level I’ve reached since it will assist me in different aspects to enrich my experience in this major.
